Sustainable Farm

My wife and I became curious about where our food is grown, so we began to study the subject. It turns out not much of what we were eating was grown near our home in Charleston.

We decided to start a farm and grow our own food. We searched the area and found a 275 acre farm that had previously grown strawberries. The land had not been actively farmed in over ten years, so when we got the land we began to prep it for a more diverse use. In time, we hope to make what we produce available to the public.

We’ll share that journey and what we learn here on the blog, on Instagram, and via our friends, The Davis family, who are going to live on the land and farm it full time.
